On 11 May 2021, AVSECO was presented the bronze prize in the HKIA "Safety Excellence Award" under the "Airport Safety Recognition Scheme 2020/21" organized by the Airport Authority. In addition, 12 AVSECO staff also received awards in the “Role Model Safety Behaviour”, "Accident Prevention Measures" and "Good Safety Suggestion" categories.
